The Ikeja Chapter of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) celebrated a landmark evening of transition and festivity as newly elected executives were inaugurated to lead the chapter for the next two years.

The ceremony, held at the Ikeja Business Club, Alausa, doubled as the chapter’s end-of-year party and drew industry leaders, fellows of the Institute, and distinguished guests. The oath of office was administered by NIMN National President, Mrs. Bolajoko Bayo-Ajayi, marking a strategic shift aimed at repositioning the Ikeja Chapter as a hub of professional excellence.

Newly inaugurated Chairman, Mrs. Onome Odili, outlined a bold vision to make Ikeja the most active and influential chapter in the Institute.

“Our vision is to reposition the chapter as the most active, influential, and professionally rewarding chapter in the entire Institute. Together, we will build a chapter that truly reflects the spirit of marketing with innovation, connection, and impact,” she said.

Odili was sworn in alongside a team of executives including Nana Milagrosa Biyang (Vice Chairman), Rasheed Adeniyi (General Secretary), Roseline Abaraonye (Assistant Secretary), Birhiray Eric (Treasurer), Adekemi Alegbeleye (Financial Secretary), Stephen Okoh (Public Relations Officer), and Omoyele Oguntade (Welfare Secretary).

The event also paid tribute to outgoing executives, whose dedication and service laid the foundation for the chapter’s continued growth. With its new leadership, NIMN Ikeja Chapter is poised to strengthen its role as a driver of innovation and professional excellence in Nigeria’s marketing industry.
