NIMN Holds LeadHers in Marketing Conference March 6
The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) is set to host the maiden edition of the LeadHers in Marketing Conference on March 6, 2026, at the Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
With the theme, “Redefining Influence: Women Shaping the Future of Marketing,” the conference aims to spotlight the growing impact of women in the marketing profession and create a platform for dialogue, mentorship, and industry advancement.
Speaking ahead of the event, NIMN President, Bolajoko Bayo-Ajayi, described the conference as a strategic initiative designed to amplify female leadership and innovation within the marketing ecosystem.
Bolajoko, who made history as the first female president of the Institute, has since assuming office spearheaded efforts to reposition NIMN as a more inclusive, forward-looking professional body. Her administration has focused on strengthening industry standards, expanding professional development opportunities, and building on the solid foundation laid by past presidents.
The LeadHers conference is expected to convene marketing professionals, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and aspiring practitioners from across the country. Organisers say the event will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and networking sessions aimed at fostering collaboration and inspiring the next generation of marketing leaders.
Industry stakeholders have described the initiative as timely, noting the increasing role women play in shaping brand strategy, consumer engagement, and business growth across sectors.
The conference marks a significant milestone in NIMN’s ongoing commitment to advancing the marketing profession in Nigeria while championing diversity and leadership excellence.
