ADVAN to Examine AI, Brand Trust at AGM

The Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) will bring together leading economists, business executives and marketing professionals for an exclusive Executive Leadership Session as part of its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM), focusing on the changing dynamics of business growth, consumer engagement and brand trust in Nigeria's evolving economy.

The session, themed "The New Rules of Growth: Building Trust, Brands and Business in Nigeria's Evolving Economy," is scheduled to hold on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 12:00 noon at the Radisson Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

Designed for senior business and marketing leaders, the forum will examine emerging economic trends, the growing influence of artificial intelligence, and the strategies organisations need to remain competitive while building consumer confidence.

Leading the discussions is Dr. Doyin Salami, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KAINOS Edge Consulting Ltd and former Economic Adviser to the President of Nigeria. Speaking on "The New Rules of Growth: Navigating Nigeria's Evolving Economy and Consumer Landscape," Salami will provide insights into the country's economic outlook, changing consumer behaviour and the strategic opportunities businesses can leverage to drive sustainable growth.

Also speaking is Crystal I. Berger, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EBO and Vettify™, and former Senior Booking Producer and National Feature Host at FOX News. Berger, whose technology venture secured US$500,000 in funding, including a US$350,000 TEDCO Builder Fund investment, will deliver a presentation on "The Future of Brand Trust: Thriving in an AI-Powered World."

Her session will explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping trust, reputation management and business credibility, while highlighting how technology can help organisations verify information, reduce risk and strengthen stakeholder confidence in an increasingly digital marketplace.

According to ADVAN, the Executive Leadership Session is designed to equip participants with practical insights into Nigeria's evolving economic environment, the impact of AI on brand reputation and business growth, and provide a platform for networking among chief marketing officers, senior executives, marketers and business decision-makers.

The association said the event will bring together experts at the intersection of economics, business growth, brand trust and artificial intelligence, offering business leaders actionable strategies for navigating an increasingly complex and technology-driven business landscape.
