World Out of Home Organization to Host Regional Forum in Seoul, November 5–7

The World Out of Home Organization (WOO) has announced that its next Regional Forum will take place in Seoul, South Korea, from November 5–7, in partnership with the Korea Out of Home Advertising Association (KOOHA), led by Chairman Chang Hoon Woo.

The Forum’s organizing committee brings together leading industry figures including Daewon Kim, Vice Chairman of KOOHA; Hyun Lee, WOO Ambassador (Korea); Angie Cutter, Managing Director of South East Asia at Billups; and Ichiro Jinnai, President of Perion in Japan. More members will be invited to ensure wide representation across the region’s Out of Home (OOH) sector.

This marks the third WOO Regional Forum in Asia, following successful events in Malaysia and Bali, as well as a one-day conference in Tokyo earlier this year. The organization also staged its first-ever Global Annual Congress in the region last year in Hong Kong, underlining Asia’s growing significance in shaping the future of the OOH industry.

The most recent WOO Global Congress, held in Mexico City this June, drew over 600 delegates from 58 countries, reinforcing WOO’s status as the premier global gathering for the OOH community.

WOO President Tom Goddard emphasized the strategic importance of South Korea in the industry’s evolution:

“South Korea is at the heart of the changes shaping Out of Home for the rest of the century, and KOOHA is a driving force in the region. We’re proud and delighted to partner with them for what will be a forward-looking and unmissable Regional Forum.”

The Seoul Forum is expected to bring together leading voices, brands, and innovators to discuss emerging trends, technology, and strategies that will define the future of Out of Home media in Asia and beyond.
