As we celebrate the incredible impact of women in the Advertising and Marketing Communications industry, we proudly recognize Bunmi Oke’s outstanding contributions.
Bunmi Oke serves as the CEO/Lead Consultant of Ladybird Limited since 2017, where she has spearheaded projects and accounts for esteemed clients such as FirstBank, First E&P, Hayat Kimyat, Three Points Industries, Lagos State Government, and HiGAfrica group, among others. Her expertise extends to conducting strategy planning and brand building workshops for notable clients including the Central Bank of Nigeria, ARCON (formerly APCON), WIMBIZ, and various SMEs and multinational corporations.
With a distinguished career spanning over 30 years in Integrated Marketing Communications, Bunmi Oke has excelled in business development, general management, and media. She has held leadership roles in leading global Ad agencies such as 141 Worldwide/Ogilvy network, as well as leading departments and businesses at LTC – J Walter Thompson and Grant McCann – Ericson worldwide. Throughout her career, she has worked on numerous global multinational and local accounts including Etisalat, British-American Tobacco, Coca-Cola International, Unilever Brands, Guinness, WAMCO – Friesland, NOUN, and Bajaj – India, among others.
Bunmi Oke’s commitment to continuous learning and innovation is evidenced by her recent achievement as a Digital AdExpert Certificate holder by Aleph in Digital Marketing 2023, a leading global enabler of digital advertising. Her contributions to the industry extend beyond her professional endeavors; Bunmi Oke has served as Past President of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria, APCON, and as a Wimbiz Council Member. She was also a delegate at the 2014 National Conference and is a multiple Award-Winning APCON Fellow. Furthermore, she has served as Chairman of the LAIF Awards for AAAN from 2011-2014 and is a leading industry award judge and juror for advertising and MARCOMs awards both locally and internationally.
