In a significant recognition of his contributions to the marketing field, Sir Efedi Jellily, the Head of Corporate Marketing and Export Marketing Manager at Soulmate Industries Limited, has been conferred the prestigious status of Fellow by the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN). The investiture ceremony took place during the three-day Annual Marketing Conference in Ibadan, Oyo State, which also saw the induction of new Associate and Full Members, underscoring the Institute’s commitment to fostering the highest standards of professionalism.
NIMN President and Chairman of Council, Mr. Idorenyen Enang, urged the new inductees to actively contribute to the growth and development of the Institute, emphasizing that this marks the beginning of a new era for the marketing profession.
Sir Efedi Jellily leads the corporate and export marketing efforts at Soulmate Industries Limited, one of Africa’s leading cosmetics companies. He oversees national corporate sales and export marketing across the African region and West Coast. Beyond his role at Soulmate, he is the MD/CEO of Jelluminous Consult, a marketing and management consulting firm, and the CEO of Jelluminous Designs and Jelluminous Entertainment, reflecting his passion for fashion and entertainment.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Sir Efedi is deeply committed to humanitarian service. He has held several positions within Rotary International, an international humanitarian organization, including serving as the President of the Rotary Club of Ojodu and currently as an Assistant Governor in Rotary District 9110, Nigeria. He also contributes to public safety as the Unit Coordinator for Unit 66 – Rotary Ojodu in the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), RS.2.1, Ojodu Command, Lagos State Sector.
Sir Efedi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and numerous professional certifications in management and marketing from both national and international institutions. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultancy (FIMC), a Chartered Management Consultant, a Full Member of the National Institute of Management (NIM), a Full Member of the Business Process Management Institute (BPMI), and a Certified Management Specialist (CMS) from the London Graduate School. He also holds a Mini-MBA from Tekedia Institute, Boston, USA, has attended the prestigious Lagos Business School (LBS), and is a Green Belt holder in the Lean Six-Sigma Management program.
