Publicis Groupe Africa has announced the appointment of Jonty Fisher as its new Chief Strategy & Integration Officer, a role in which he will spearhead the company’s growth strategy across the continent while driving deeper integration of the Groupe’s diverse capabilities.
In his new position, Fisher will oversee the strategic alignment of Publicis Groupe’s media, production, communications, and commerce offerings to deliver end-to-end solutions that address clients’ core growth challenges.
With more than 25 years of experience in the communications industry, Fisher brings a wealth of expertise as a strategist, agency leader, and integrator. He has successfully grown and managed both independent and network agencies in South Africa and has built a reputation for shaping smart, media-led creative solutions that connect customer data to compelling, original work.
Over the course of his career, Fisher has worked with some of the world’s leading brands, including Heineken, PepsiCo, Unilever, Sanlam, KIA, Mondelez, Prudential, Jack Daniel’s, Lindt, and Distell. His mission, he says, is to leverage the power of creativity and collaboration to drive growth for people, clients, and the continent at large.
Prior to this appointment, Fisher served as Senior Vice President of Publicis Groupe Africa, overseeing all the Groupe’s communications agencies in the region, including Machine, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Digitas, while also shaping corporate strategy.
