As the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) prepares for its 2025 Annual General Meeting and National Marketing Conference scheduled to hold from June 19 to 21 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, the presidential election process is gathering momentum with a virtual Townhall-style chat slated for tomorrow, Wednesday, June 13, at 6:00 PM.
The virtual session will feature Dr. (Mrs.) Bolajoko Bayo-Ajayi, FNIMN, Certified Performance Coach (CPC), and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), who is contesting for the position of President of the Institute. She will be presenting her manifesto and engaging directly with members on her plans to reposition and strengthen the NIMN.
The event will be moderated by Ms. Oghale Abikele, CEO of The Brand Colossus, a leading marketing and advertising media company renowned for championing thought leadership in the marketing communications industry.
Expressing her excitement ahead of the event, Dr. Bayo-Ajayi said,
“I am excited to be a candidate for the position of President of our great Institute. In the past one year, I have had the privilege of serving as a Council member in the position of 1st Vice President. This role has allowed me to experience the inner workings of the Institute and has opened my eyes to both the opportunities and the pressing needs required to move our Institute forward.”
She praised the significant progress made by the Institute under the leadership of the current President, Mr. Idorenyen Enang and Immediate Past President, Mr. Tony Agenmonmen, noting that the Council’s unwavering commitment has been instrumental in advancing the goals of the NIMN. However, she emphasized that there is still more ground to cover.
“There is much more we can accomplish together to elevate the Institute to new heights,” she added.
Dr. Bayo-Ajayi’s candidacy is grounded in years of active service and a strong track record of leadership within the Institute. Her contributions include:
