Mr. Idorenyin Enang, President of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Akwa Ibom Investment Corporation (AKICORP).
This was announced by the office of the Secretary to the State Government, Akwa Ibom State.
Mr. Enang’s extensive expertise and leadership in marketing have significantly contributed to the advancement of the industry in Nigeria. His appointment to the AKICORP Board underscores the state’s commitment to incorporating seasoned professionals to steer the corporation towards achieving its investment and economic development goals.
The newly formed AKICORP Board will be chaired by Obong Ide Owodiong-Idemeko, with Pastor Imo-Abasi Jacob serving as Managing Director. Barr. Ben Udowa and Pastor Godwin Ukwat have been appointed as Executive Directors. Alongside Mr. Enang, the board also includes several key members from the state government, namely the Hon. Commissioners of Finance, Investment, Justice, Lands, and Economic Development.
Mr. Enang’s role as a Non-Executive Director (OPS) involves providing strategic guidance and oversight, leveraging his vast experience to enhance the board’s effectiveness. His appointment is expected to bring fresh insights and strengthen the corporation’s mission to attract and manage investments in Akwa Ibom State.
