The stage is set for one of Nigeria’s most heartwarming and inspiring events as the 16th edition of the Indomie Heroes Awards gears up to reveal this year’s extraordinary young winners. The much-anticipated live broadcast will air tomorrow on Arise TV and NTA at 5 PM, and on Africa Magic at 7:30 PM, with the talented and captivating Nancy Isime as the host.
Organized by Dufil Prima Foods Ltd, makers of Indomie Instant Noodles, the Indomie Heroes Awards aims to identify, celebrate, and reward the exceptional bravery, intellect, and selflessness displayed by Nigerian children aged 15 and under. Since its inception, the event has grown into a beacon of inspiration, shining a spotlight on the remarkable yet often overlooked acts of heroism by young Nigerians.
This year’s edition, themed “Unsung Heroes,” will highlight incredible stories of courage, kindness, and intelligence from children across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones. Whether through physical bravery, social impact, or intellectual achievements, these young heroes embody the values of selflessness and strength that have remained largely unrecognized until the launch of the Indomie Heroes Awards.
Speaking at the press briefing recently in Lagos, Temitope Ashiwaju, Group Corporate Communications and Events Manager of Dufil Prima Foods Ltd, announced that the search for this year’s heroes had already begun with field exercises and online submissions. The screening and selection process is overseen by a panel of esteemed judges, ensuring that the most deserving young heroes will be celebrated on the grand stage.
As the nation tunes in today, the Indomie Heroes Awards continues its legacy of celebrating the extraordinary in the ordinary, reminding us all of the power of youth and the impact they can have on society.
