The organizers of Pitcher Awards, the Pan-African benchmark for creative excellence, have appointed Ideas Origin Media’s Creative Director, Segun Ayinla as a member of the Jury at this year’s Pitcher Festival of Creativity Awards scheduled to take place from the 16th to 18th of May, 2024. Segun Ayinla will be serving as a Judge in the digital category.
While making the announcement, the organizers explained that Judges are appointed based on their experience and reputation, and that as much as possible, emphasis is placed on appointing professionals working in Africa in line with the Awards vision of promoting the creativity of the region and the people behind them.
Confirming the appointment via social media, the Creative Director of Ideas Origin Media has expressed his delight and appreciation for being considered to serve as a Judge at this year’s Awards.
“I anticipate collaborating with the President and other distinguished Jury members to identify top-notch works that deliver optimal results for clients and impact for society. Now in its seventh edition, the Pitcher Awards have been described as one of Africa’s most valuable and internationally respected awards. Each year the jury, made up of experts from across the region, comes together to assess and benchmark the creativity expressed across Africa through various media including print, film, audio, outdoor, PR, entertainment and digital , as well as creativity specifically deployed for the good of humanity.
At the end of rigorous voting and discussion sessions, the jury will award the prestigious Pitcher Awards to deserving entries. The awards range from Shortlist, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Good to Grand Prix.
