The Health and Managed Care Association of Nigeria (HMCAN), a leading provider of support systems and services for the health insurance and managed health care industry across the entire value chain, along with the Institute of Healthcare Finance and Management (IHFM), has announced their Annual General Meeting and Induction ceremony.
The event, themed “PITFALLS IN THE 2023 NHIA OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES: SUSTAINABILITY OF HMOs AS STRATEGIC STAKEHOLDERS,” is scheduled for Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the Sojourner by Genesis Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos.
Dr. Leke Oshunniyi (FIHFM), Chairman of HMCAN and Managing Director of AIICO-Multishield HMO, highlighted that the event will feature a keynote address, paper presentations, awards, a luncheon, networking opportunities, and panel discussions with participants from the HMO industry and legal professionals.
HMCAN, the Health & Managed Care Association of Nigeria, is an organization comprising accredited HMOs in Nigeria, dedicated to promoting and protecting the common interests of its members engaged in health insurance and management business in Nigeria. It also formulates and maintains standards and codes of conduct for self-regulation among its members.
IHFM, on the other hand, stands for the Institute for Healthcare Finance and Management, a training institute in the healthcare sector.
