McMichael, in a poignant message shared on LinkedIn, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead Eat N’ Go Africa. He emphasized the company’s achievements under his stewardship, including expanding from 63 to nearly 200 stores across Nigeria and Kenya. Additionally, he highlighted Eat N’ Go’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, particularly its partnership with Slum to School, aimed at providing education to underprivileged children in Nigeria.
Reflecting on his decision to step down, McMichael conveyed confidence in the incoming management and reiterated his belief in the company’s continued success. With over three decades of experience in the quick-service restaurant sector, McMichael brought a wealth of expertise to Eat N’ Go. Prior to his role at the company, he served in key leadership positions at Domino’s Pizza Enterprises, where he spearheaded remarkable growth initiatives. Notably, as CEO of Domino’s Pizza Indonesia, McMichael oversaw a substantial increase in store count within a year, showcasing his adeptness in driving expansion strategies.
