FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC, a major player in the dairy industry, has appointed Roger Adou as the Managing Director, effective January 1, 2024. Adou takes over from Ben Langat, who led the company for nearly seven years.
Having joined FrieslandCampina in 2019, Adou served as the Regional Director for FrieslandCampina West Africa before assuming his new role. With over 21 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry in Africa, Adou has worked in various countries, including Mali, Niger, Senegal, Benin, Togo, and Cote d’Ivoire. Renowned for building cohesive and successful teams, he brings transformational energy to organizations.
Adou holds a Master of Science degree from ESCA Business School of the INP-HB of Yamoussoukro, Cote d’Ivoire, an MBA from HEC Paris, France, and a certificate from the London Business School, UK. Notably, he has been nominated three times in the Top 200 Choiseul African Business Leaders under 40 by the distinguished French think tank, Choiseul Institute.
