The strategic partnership between Nigeria and Ghana is taking center stage in the advancement of marketing across Africa, as the African Marketing Confederation (AMC) gears up for its 2025 Annual Conference, scheduled for August in Accra, Ghana. Hosted by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG), the event marks a significant step toward strengthening regional collaboration and repositioning marketing as a powerful driver of development on the continent.
During the recently held Annual Marketing Conference of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), the current President of CIMG, Michael Abbiw, praised the enduring and mutually beneficial relationship between both Institutes. He noted that the collaborative spirit shared by Nigeria and Ghana will play a crucial role in elevating the regional profile of marketing as a profession and enhancing its strategic influence across West Africa.
On his part, the Immediate Past President of NIMN, Mr. Idorenyen Enang, emphasized the importance of such cross-border alliances in deepening professional integration and knowledge sharing among marketing practitioners in Africa. He highlighted that sustained partnerships like the one between NIMN and CIMG are essential for shaping a unified, future-ready marketing community capable of responding to the continent’s unique opportunities and challenges.
