Falcon Corporation, one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous midstream and downstream energy companies, has announced the appointment of its Co-Founder and current Deputy Managing Director, Audrey Joe-Ezigbo, as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2026.
The announcement marks a defining milestone for the award-winning entrepreneur, whose leadership and vision have been instrumental in Falcon’s growth since she co-founded the company with her husband in 1994. Over nearly three decades, Falcon has evolved into a multiple award-winning player in natural gas distribution and LPG trading, championing the deployment of cleaner energy sources to drive Nigeria’s industrialisation and economic growth.

Her career is marked by an impressive list of accolades, including recognition among the 100 Most Inspiring Women in Nigeria (2019 & 2023), Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year West Africa (2014), and the Power Woman 100 list in Oil & Gas (2021). She is also the first female president of the Nigerian Gas Association and a founding member of the Women in Energy Network.
Beyond Falcon, Joe-Ezigbo is an influential voice in business leadership, serving on the advisory boards of the Lagos Business School and the Enterprise Development Centre, as well as founding the Double Impact Platform, a capacity-building initiative for entrepreneurial couples.
Her appointment as CEO signals Falcon’s continued focus on innovation, local relevance, and leadership in the clean energy transition.
