In a ceremony marked by celebration and prestige, Bolaji Junaid, CEO of Whyfinite, was conferred with one of the highest professional honours by the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN). The event, the 2024 edition of the Annual Marketing Conference – Fellows Investiture and Dinner, saw Bolaji and 69 other distinguished professionals inducted into the esteemed body of fellows. Notably, Bolaji is one of the youngest members to receive this honour.

Among the other newly inducted fellows were prominent figures such as Maureen Ifada, Marketing Director (Sub-Saharan Africa Cluster) at FrieslandCampinaWAMCO; renowned journalist and broadcaster Dr. Mitchell Obi of Master Sports International; Folake Soetan, CEO of Ikeja Electric; and Tosin Adefeko, CEO of AT3 Resources.

Addressing the attendees, Mr. Idorenyen Enang, President and Chairman of the Governing Council of NIMN, underscored the importance of maintaining the highest standards within the marketing profession. He urged the inductees to contribute actively to the Institute’s growth and to take advantage of opportunities for expanding their knowledge and expertise.

Bolaji Junaid is a seasoned marketing professional and business growth accelerator with over 15 years of experience. He founded Just Passion Concepts in 2009, rapidly growing the company from zero capital to a multi-million naira business within a year. His career progressed as he joined Insight Publicis in 2014 as an executive trainee, where he worked on high-profile brands including Peak Milk, Amstel Malta, and UBA.

In 2019, Bolaji joined Ogilvy, managing relationships for brands such as 5Alive and Golden Penny, and played a pivotal role in the successful relaunch of 5Alive. He returned to Insight Publicis in 2020 to lead the Seven-Up Bottling Company account, launching new brands like 2Sure and Supa Komando Energy Drink, and left in 2021 as an Account Director.

Bolaji holds degrees from Lagos State University and Lagos Business School, an associate member of Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) who has garnered numerous accolades, including being named one of Nigeria’s 35 under 35 Outstanding Marketing Professionals in 2022. Currently, he is dedicated to building Whyfinite into Africa’s leading marketing technology hub by 2030.
